Why vanity metrics are dangerous
So yes I think it's a fit. :)
Replying via email is killer, you can actually have a discussion, so keep Disqus!
I'm writing this in Gmail now.
That's the best feature of Disqus, via email you can actually have
conversations.
(You're going to get a ton of email, but that's cool, people like your blog!)
you can find out about from their site. In need of some Whole Product
thinking, perhaps...
Anyway, love the email-to-comment gateway. It's genius.

As a blogger (except I use WordPress and not Blogger), I appreciate a robust comment system that allows me to give my readers the option to give me as much or as little information about themselves as they would like and that allows me to filter my spam.
Also, on blogs like yours where in-depth discussion seems to be imminent (that's a great thing, by the way!), perhaps a comment system that allows for threaded comments (as in, I reply to your main post in a comment and you respond to my comment directly; if you are familiar with LiveJournal, their comment system is very usable in this manner as it allows for threaded comments).
This perhaps might make it easier to track individual conversations going on in regards to each post?
Just some thoughts.
But I definitely like this system better than the earlier one. :)
Is there supposed to be added functionality with using Twitter?
What I mean is, can I respond to these posts and/or comments from my Twitter console?
